Candelmas day.

I´m going to talk about the Candelmas Day in Mexico. In Mexico a very big number of the population are Catholics and the Christians are the ones that celebrate this day. In Christian tradition there are the three kings who are a group of three distinguished foreingers who said to have visited Jesús after his birth, bearing gifts of gold, myrrh and frankinciense. They are very famous in celebrations of Chrismas. In Mexico is used that the day before of the Kings day celebration (on January 5) families with friends gather and eat the King Cake, it inside has 3 little boys representing Jesus, the persons that get this little boys must throw a party for everyone that ate the same King Cake. This day is on February 2, the Candelmas day. The party is served with traditonally food like tamales and atole.

Cancun is well known as the Mexican Caribbean. It is a coasted city in Mexico. Cancun is located on the Yucatan Channel that separates Mexico from the island of Cuba.

Cancun is a very touristic place in Mexico where you can find whatever you want, rest or even have a historical trip. You can find there a lot of differents hotels with different prices, if yoy plan your trip with time you can find many interesting packages. You can find there a many differents activities, such as swimming with dolphins, boating excursions and jet sky in the joungle tours.

Cancun is also important because of the Rivera Maya, another tourist area where people are attracted by numerous archaeological sites as Coba and Tulum, the many cenotes, charming towns as Playa del Carmen, Xcaret and Xplor. The temperature of Cancun is warm and tropical, Cancun features a tropical wet and dry climare. The anual average temperatiure in Cancun is 26°C (79 °F).

Chicago sports.

Chicago Marathon is one of the five major marathons in the World, it take place in the Cook Country Illinois, USA. The last October it was the 32nd anniversary running, it has been runing until 1977. In Chicago marathon it´s not qualifying time to the runers but only the ones that finish within 6½ are officially timed. The race of this marathon is limited to 45,000 runers, also it has a limited registration.

The first marathon in Chicago began in Evanston and finished at Washington Park, it reported more than 100,000 expectators with that first race the Chicago marathon became anual. Over the years it included Olympic champions, and the marathon continued to inspire Chicago comunities and spectators. Years later the Chicago marathon became a rival to New York marathon, and then it was among of the big tour marathons with the name of American´s Marathon/Chicago some people describe ir as the “Worlds Marathon” . click

The Chicago Bulls were founded un 1966. It is a famous basketball team based in Chicago, Illinois, they play their home games at the United Center. The team is well known of having one of the most famous NBA players in the History during the 1990s wining six championships in eight years, all that were led by Michael Jordan. The Bulls won an NBA record 72 games during the 1995-96 NBA season, the only team in the history has won 70 games in a single season. Lakeview Polar Bear Club have been a famous club during the last eight years. This club is famous because as you know Chicago during the winter have a very cold weather and the people of this club go together one day each year to swim in the freezing water of the Lake Michigan in Chicago, It is a familiar day for them so it is prohibited to swin with out clothes. If you are interested, the swim will take place at the Oak street beach on January 30th, 2010. All the participants should plan on arriving by 11:30. Few day´s ago I made an interview to some classmates from South Arabia about their country, and I asked some questions.

In your contry it´s ok if a woman have a baby before getting married?

No, the families became very upset and they start having problems between the families, sometimes if they don´t found the father of the baby they go to the court and the judge decide to find the father, and if the father dosen´t appear the goverment keep the baby, but the mother can see the baby.

Are equal men and women?

Now a day´s things have been changing a lot. Woman can do things that before she can´t. Now they can study and work, but NEVER drive, the man is the only one that can drive.

Chicago is well known as the second city or the windy city. It is the third city with the larger number of habitants in the United States, the others are New York and Angeles. The weather in chicago changes a lot. It´s a place that every person would like to know, maybe in winter no because it is very cold. You have a lot of activities to do and places to go. HERE

In Overall Mexico is a espectacular place that must people should visit. You can have a lot of fun, know a lot of places, and of course learn a little about Mexico culture and traditions that are very interesting. I am sure that once you visit Mexico you will like to go back again!
